Razor Wire for Extra Security

There are many boundary wall options to secure our properties today, and it is good to look at all options before deciding what will work best for our needs.

Today we look at razor wire.   There are benefits to installing razor wire on top of walls for extra security.  

As razor wire is difficult to cut due to the steel used to design the wire being very hard, it makes it very difficult for anyone to cut the wire and enter your property.

Once you have installed the wire, it is virtually impossible for anyone to trespass, so it is a really goodrazor wire mesh fencing option, and will enhance the protection of your property and make it far more secure.  Anyone foolish enough to try and climb over the fence or cut it, will end up with very serious deep and painful cuts.

Razor wire can be installed on top of any fence to make it more secure.  One thing to remember is that the fence must be at least 1.8m whether a concrete fence, or palisade.  This is so that innocent people or animals are not caught up and injured by the wire.  

Razor wire is extremely robust and as it is galvanized it has great resistance to corrosion, so it will stay a long time without need of replacement.

It is a good idea to look at the pros and cons of adding razor wire to your boundary fence for added security.  There are different types of razor wire, so you need to know which type would best suite your needs.
